Post marriage and lockdown, Act 1978 will be the first big screen outing for leading lady Yajna Shetty. The actor, who has drawn a lot of praises for her turnout in the film owing to the catchy trailer hopes that the film brings back audience to theatres post unlock 4.
“I have never been an actor who has been part of the number game and like to pick and choose good roles. When I got the call from Mansore to feature in Act 1978, I had excused myself from the project owing to personal commitments. But he insisted I at least listen to the script and once I did, I was hooked. Even I were an audience, this is a film I would like to watch,” Yajna has been quoted as saying. Yajna has been the cynosure of all eyes since the poster was released; she’s seen as a human bomb holding the hand of a boy along with toting a walkie talkie. “The team worked around a schedule that was convenient to me and has been extremely co-operative,” states Yajna.
Act 1978 also stars Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Shruthi in prominent roles and has been directed by the national award winning director Mansore.
