“Shivaji Surathkal: Ranagiri Rahasya”, produced by Anup Gowda and Rekha KN for Anjanadri Cine Creations, is turning out to be a big hit. Made on a small budget and directed by Akash Srivatsa, the film is making huge profits at the box office.
Now, remakes in Hindi and Tamil are also being discussed. According to sources, the film will be remade in Tamil with Ramesh in the lead role. Ramesh is a well-known name in Kollywood and he has acted in many Tamil films since the 1990s.
Ramesh has also been part of many Kamal Hassan films and also directed movies in Tamil. The filmmakers feel that it would be great if Ramesh reprises the detective role. We will have to wait and watch for Ramesh’s response regarding this offer.
