Mangaluru beauty Sonal Monteiro seems to be one of the busiest heroines in Sandalwood. She has been on a signing spree and has now bagged the lead role opposite Vasishta N Simha in “Talwarpete”.
The new film, which is set against a rural backdrop, will be helmed by K Lakshman Sri Ram. It has been written by Lakshman, along with his twin brother, Ram Sri Lakshman. The team has been associated with filmmakers such has Prashanth Neel and Narthan.
A commercial film, “Talwarpete” is slated to go on floors in July and there are a lot of expectations riding on it as the director has worked on films like “Ugramm”, “Mufti” and “KGF”.
This film may also be a turning point for Vasishta N Simha’s career, who has rocked as a villain so far.
