Ramu is known for his lavish production ventures. However from past few years, his films have not been doing well. Not taking the losses in his head, Ramu is back with another big budget action entertainer titled “Mumbai”. This is Ramu’s 36th film as producer.
The budget of the film is Rs 8 crores and stars Krishna in lead role. Rs 8 crores may not seem to be a big budget, but for a star like Krishna, who has still not attained star status in Sandalwood, it is surely a big amount. The film has been written by SR Brothers Ramesh who wrote for blockbuster film “AK 47”.
The film’ is expected to hit the screens in November. Sridhar Sambram has composed music, whereas Jayanth Kaikini, Nagendra Prasad, SR Ramesh, Santosh and Sridhar Sambram have penned the lyrics. The film also has Teju, Ashish Vidyarthi, Chaswa, Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Kote Prabhakar, Kaddipudi Chandru and others in pivotal roles.
