Upendra and Rachita Ram-starrer “I Love You” is releasing this Friday. The film is generating a lot of buzz as this is Upendra’s comeback film. However, in recent days, it has been making more buzz due to the hot stills between Upendra and Rachita Ram revealed by the makers. A glimpse of this was also shown in the trailer.
This sequence has now been met with mixed responses as some of Rachita’s fans are upset with the development, forcing the actress to issue a clarification.
“The scene was required for the film. It is part of a song and as the heroine, I have all the right to play different kinds of characters. It is possible that my previous statement that I don’t like wearing a bikini on screen, or that I am not willing to do intimate scenes, has now led to these discussions. I did it because the role demanded it. Having said that, I have also decided not to be a part of such sequences in the future,” she explained.
Meanwhile, “I Love You” is releasing on June 14 in a record number of screens in Kannada and Telugu, the highest for a Kannada film after “KGF”.
