Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer "Pogaru" will be released across theatres on February 19.

Soon after Dhruva Sarja announced on social media that the movie would be released on the auspicious day of Ratha Saptami (February 19), the post was trending.

The film has been directed by Nanda Kishore and has Raghavendra Rajkumar, Girija Lokesh, Dali Dhananjaya, Chikkanna among the cast.

Produced by BK Gangadhar, the film will be released simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu.

"Pogaru " will be the first star movie to be released after the Covid-19 outbreak. Since then, only low-budget films have been released.
