Popular Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu has joined the sets of Darshan-starrer “Roberrt” and will be playing the villain. In the past, he has acted in Kannada films like “Bacchan” and “Jaguar”.
The talented actor was recently seen paying his respects to the late “Rebel Star” Ambareesh at his samadhi, along with a few of the film’s crew including producer Umapathy.
The film is being directed by Tharun Sudhir. This is his second film as director after the highly acclaimed “Chowka”.
Darshan is confident of this project and has asked the team to give their best. He feels that this film will make his market grow in other states and is giving his best for the film.
Meanwhile, Jagapathi has completed shooting for Chiranjeevi’s dream project “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy”. The film, which was scheduled to be released on October 2019, may see a delay as the makers are reportedly not happy with the VFX.
