Sandalwood actor Diganth is all set to act in a Telugu film. He was last seen in Tollywood with his film ‘Vaana’ back in 2008, which was a remake of blockbuster Kannada film ‘Mungaru Male’. He had reprised the role which he had played in original Kannada film in the Telugu version. Reportedly, Diganth was approached by Tollywood film makers with many offers, but the actor did not accept as he did not get the desired script.
However, after 11 years, Diganth has got a pivotal role in a film which stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. The film titled ‘Hero’ which will be directed by Anand Annamalai, is set in a bike racing backdrop. According to sources, the film will be released in multiple languages.
The shooting schedule for the film is set to begin this May. Reportedly, Diganth along with Vijay Devarakonda will start the race track shoot in Delhi some time in the middle of the month. ‘Hero’ is produced under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. Shalini Pandey and Malavika Mohanan will be playing the female leads in the film.
