Bengaluru: Kannada director Ravi Shrivatsa is known for his films based on underworld stories.
Continuing the same, now Shrivatsa has decided to bring on screen the life of Muttappa Rai, a former underworld don who succumbed to Cancer recently.
The film is coming in three parts. Deekshit, a young actor will play the role of Rai.
Deekshit made his sandalwood debut through ‘Deadly Soma’, which was directed by Shrivatsa. He had played the role of central character Soma’s life as a young boy. Now, he will play the lead role in the Rai’s movie.
Ravi informed that the title of the movie will be ‘MR’.
“I narrated the story to Rai in the 2002. Now, after 18 years, I am directing this movie. The shooting will start in January 2021,” he explained.
