A few months after Rakshit Shetty announced his dream project “Punyakoti”, work has begun and he has managed to get his favourites, music director Charan Raj and cinematographer Karm Chawla, on board the project.
Rakshit Shetty will act in and direct the film.
The film is an adaptation of the legendary tale about an honest cow and a hungry tiger and will be a historical venture.
While it is not yet known who will fund this project, the film’s budget is set to be one of the biggest in Sandalwood’s history.
Rakshit Shetty, who was last seen in “Kirik Party”, is now awaiting the release of “Avane Srimannarayana”, which will hit theatres in August. He is also busy shooting for “777 Charlie”.
