The Sultan of Sandalwood’s box office, “Challenging Star” Darshan is celebrating his 43rd birthday today on February 16.
Son of celebrated Sandalwood actor Thoogudeepa Srinivas, Darshan’s life took a miserable turn after the death of his father.
Darshan took up the job of a light boy on movie sets in order to make a living.
It was in 2002 that he got his first break with the movie “Majestic”. Since then, there has been no looking back for the dashing hero of Sandalwood.
On Sunday evening itself, a large number of fans thronged Ideal Layout at Rajarajeshwarinagar where the actor lives. Fans tried to catch glimpses of their favourite star.
