Day by day, the Covid cases in Karnataka are rising and the authorities are trying to control the pandemic. There is a palpable fear in the air and the government is doing everything in its power to take hold of the situation. One of the many measures it has adopted is to reduce the capacity of theatres to 50 per cent.
And in this scenario, people are slow to enter cinema halls and even morning shows are not full. Kode Muruga which hit theatres last week had got good reviews but yet, people are scared to come to watch films in cinema halls. It is against such a scenario that the team of Kode Muruga has decided to re-release their film in theatres in July.
“Peoples lives are more important, so we have decided to follow the protocol communicated by the government. We will re-release the film in July,” shares director Subramanya Prasad. The director has also acted in the film along with Munikrishna. The comedy flick has been produced by K Ravikumar and Ashok Shirali.
