With the roping-in of Aishwarya Prasad as a leading lady for Darshan-starrer “Roberrt”, it looks like the team is looking to flood the film with female leads as there are already two actresses playing lead roles- Asha Bhat and Sonal Monteiro.
According to Aishwarya of “Paddehulli’ fame, she will be playing a bubbly village girl in the Tharun Sudhir directorial. “For me, it is a dream come true to work alongside Darshan. I will be playing a bubbly village girl who never tolerates injustice in society,” an entertainment daily quoted the Sandalwood star.
She added that her co-star Darshan’s character has two shades in the film. “I am paired opposite one of those shades,” she said.
Speaking about her experience working with the Sandalwood veteran, she said, “I was nervous on the first day of the shoot. Darshan helped me feel comfortable. He also helped me get the North Karnataka diction right.”
