Bengaluru: Two serials that ruled the Kannada small screen for several years are Agni Sakshi and Putta Gowri Maduve. But since last few weeks, both are out of the top five Kannada entertainment programmes.
Every week, the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) prepares the list of top five Kannada entertainment serials and it is considered as the authentic data. But over the last couple of weeks, both these serials are not featuring in the top five programmes. Instead, other serials and reality shows are in the top five programmes list.
According to the Kannada entertainment field sources, with both the serials being telecast over last several years, people are losing interest.
