Mangaluru: Chief Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary and Chief Whip in Karnataka Legislative Council, Ivan D’Souza, distributed cheques to 12 applicants suffering from various diseases. The cheques were issued from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund following recommendation by Ivan D’Souza. Each of the applicants were given a cheque of Rs 4,36,128.
Speaking to the press after distributing the cheque, Ivan D’Souza said, “I request the opposition to stop blaming the ruling coalition government that it it is not doing any developmental work and instead give suggestions for development,”. He also gave a written statement that the government is, and will work towards the development of the state.
