The Times of India reported yesterday that China’s Covid19 Vaccine Candidate has produced an immune response in animals! Not sure if its the same animals that caused the virus to spread in the first place or some other. Either way – the world may be wary of a virus in the vaccine itself! And India says register with the Industry department first – if you wanna supply anything to India and clearly indicate the country of origin on the bottle! The question is the vaccine being Chinese, will it last beyond a year?
The Hindustan Times reports that an American Indian – no less – who has worked for among others Microsoft and Amazon – did something amazing last week – so much so he was charged with fraud amounting to USD 5.5 Mill! He was so stimulated by the small business stimulus package of loans for small businesses that he applied for eight loans to six companies through the Paycheck Protection Program, a federal stimulus designed to encourage small businesses to keep workers employed during the coronavirus pandemic and then used to the money to trade in stocks!
Recently our government too, has announced similar loan packages to stimulate our businesses and protect the employees… Just saying….
And the IPL is moving to Dubai. The stands will remain deserted in the desert, but the players will stay and play. The Hotels in Dubai will have some respite, while their Indian counterparts are crying out loud for support.
