Guru Sakshath ParaBrahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Nama

The age-old hymn holds a mirror to the reverence attached to a teacher. A teacher is considered and revered as a ‘God’ in this great civilization. Indian culture has attached a lot of importance to learning and knowledge.

Nacho Raja Haryam Nacha Raja Haryam, Na Bhatra Bhajyam Nacha Bharakari

Vaiya Krate Vardhati Ava Nityam, Vidyadhanam Sarva Dhanam Pranadham

The hymn implies that knowledge is the only thing on the surface of this earth that cannot be stolen by the thieves, nor can it be seized by the kings. It cannot be divided among siblings as an asset, it does not carry any weight, it is the only thing that multiplies/ grows when shared regularly, Wealth of knowledge is the most superior wealth of all”. If knowledge is the greatest wealth, then the teacher who imparts the knowledge is truly as great as the Gods.

Chakshu Runmilitam Devaya Tasmai Shree Gurave Namaha

Salutations to Shree Guru who made the disciple’s ignorant eye ill and healed him with knowledge and spread his fame everywhere. To celebrate the invaluable contribution of a Guru on the lives of his disciple, the day of ‘Guru Poornima’ is celebrated.

The day holds a great significance in Hinduism, Jainism and also Buddhism.

Guru Poornima is celebrated on the full moon day in Ashadha, the third month of the Hindu calendar and this year it falls on July 5.

Many believe that the day is also celebrated as ‘Vyasa Poornima’ as it is considered to be the birthday of Veda Vyasa, the sage who wrote the epic Mahabharata.

As per the Yogic traditions, Lord Shiva became the Adi Guru on Guru Poornima, transmitting knowledge of the Yogas the Sapta Rushis on this day.

As per Buddhists, Guru Poornima is celebrated to commemorate the first sermon of Gautama Buddha at Sarnath after he had attained enlightenment.

As for Jainism, it is believed that Mahavira, one of the most prominent Tirthankaras in Jainism, got his very first disciple Gautham Swami, on Guru Purnima day. In honour of Lord Mahaviraaaa, the 24th Tirthankara and all the other gurus who followed after him, people practicing Jainism have celebrated this day ever since.

This day is celebrated to pay respect to the teachers and Gurus of the individuals. This festival is celebrated with great devotion and the monks worship their masters by holding a fast during four months of the rainy season- Chaturmasya.

Guru Poornima in Shramana Tradition

Bhagavan Mahaviraaaa preached the Niggantha Dharma. The Shramana tradition, preached by the 23 Tirthankaras, who were earlier known as Lord Adinatha. Nabha Suta Vrishabha Tirthankaras were the first Tirthankaras and Mahaviraaaa understood the knowledge of the last pilgrimage of Jainism in the present time without a decent disciple. Indrabhuti Gautham, well-known scholar and versed in Vedas and has 500 pupils. Once Gautham was chosen out of eleven scholars to head the rituals of Yajna.

When Indrabhuti was about to begin his rite, he found several celestial beings descending to the sacrificial site from heaven. Thinking this would make the sacrificial ceremony the most famous in history, Indrabhuti rejoiced inwardly, telling the men, “Look up to heaven. And the divine beings come down from Heaven to bless us.”

Everyone looked up to the sky with eagerness and waited for their coming. To the surprise of all, the celestial beings have not stopped at their site. Instead, they proceeded beyond the site and went to the nearby forest of Mahasen. Indrabhuti soon discovered that the heavenly beings were not coming for the yajna, but were going to pay tribute to Lord Mahavira, who had just attained Keval-jnana and was about to deliver his first sermon in the language of Ardha Magadhi or Prakrit.

Indrabhuti was angry that his sacrificial ritual would not gain respect from the celestial beings. He thought angrily to himself, “Who is that Mahavira? He doesn’t even use the rich Sanskrit language to deliver his sermon, but he does use Ardha Magadhi ‘s language of the common people.

In order to prove to the celestial beings that he was more intelligent than Mahavira, he wanted to debate with Mahaviraaa and so he left the ritual with his 500 disciples to debate with Mahavira. Although they had never met before, Mahaviraaa greeted Indrabhuti by his name instantly. At first, Indrabhuti was caught off guard, but then he thought, “Why shouldn’t Mahaviraaa know my name? I am Indrabhuti Gautam, the famous scholar.” However, it was really Lord Mahaviraaa’s omniscience (unbounded knowledge) that allowed him to recognize the Brahmin and know all of his thoughts.

Mahavira knew that Indrabhuti had come to debate with him. He also realized that Indrabhuti had doubts about the existence of a soul or Atma. Mahavira asked: “Indrabhuti, do you doubt a soul ‘s existence? “Then he explained the life and nature of the soul. He offered the right interpretation of the Hindu scriptures (Vedas) and persuaded Indrabhuti that there is a soul there. Indrabhuti was shocked and saddened that Mahaviraaa knew of his suspicions about the soul ‘s existence and the right understanding of his scriptures. A wide array of structures that look like Naldeesa near Vipulachala. Mahavir Aaa, the four-inch Virasa, the distributor of the Prasanna Mudra in the face of the Swami, has three rounds of reverence and worships Swami with reverence. Having realized how incomplete his understanding had been, he felt awakened and refreshed and at the age of 50, he became the first and only disciple of Mahavira.

Guru Poornima is the day when the Lord and the Guru were found simultaneously with the Lord who received the Mahadeva as His Guru. Gautama Swami, the leading master of the sermons of Lord Mahaviraaaa, preached Mahaviraaaa Swami’s sermon to all.

Greater emphasis is on the worship of qualities than in idolatry in Jainism. The soul becomes the Supreme Being, as the person who is buried. Get ready for a life that has made a remarkable achievement on the path to self-promotion and risen five steps. There is no God outside or far away, but the spirit of all who is worthy to be God. From the Angus to the scalp, the highest self is the Supreme Knowledge Sudarshanaya, Charitra Tejomaya, Mangalyam, Mahimam, Svamboom, Sukhee, Nirbadham, Nirappakshi, Nibangam, Bolparmamatmantendarapidai.

World Peace Guide

The superhero continued to give sermons for over 32 years from the age of 30 onwards in the simple language known as Ardha Magadhi, which was prevalent at that time. His total life expectancy is 72 years. His philosophies and teachings were always truthful. His religious teachings were conveyed to all his Vedic great Gautamas. The Kshatriyas were attracted by the Mauryas, the Enlightenment, the rank, the Bimbisara. He preached the five pillars of life; Truth, Non-violence, Acharya, Aparigraha, Brahmacharya. These are humanitarian virtues, and the self-reliance of self-help will bring happiness and peace to all. Happy with non-violence, peace with sacrifice. He said that animals, kindness, coexistence, forgiveness, gentleness, simple saintly life, are the attributes of the earnest and wise. He cleared away the debasement infiltrated in religion. He said that there is a gulf between the devotee and the Lord. By suffering, bloodshed, hurting animals, overburdening, the silence of the mute animal increases our grief in Bhava Bhava. He taught that nonviolence is the lifeblood of religion. His popular message was to live for yourself and for others.

The most important element in his principle is the truth. The nature of the truth is extremely complicated. It is not possible for the common man (man) to know the truth or all the qualities of an object. Just as the blind know the elephant, the knowledge of the substance of the object is like the knowledge of the blind elephant. Sat means past – an object has two properties, permanent and impermanent. For example – gold is permanent; The jewellery is impermanent. Everything in nature has three qualities: produce, destroy, eternal. Substance, meaning material in nature, is eternal, or permanent in nature. Substances are multi-dimensional (dimension), they are skeletons, there is no single transit; Athma has Five types of substances.

Life Principle

There are two types of matter: Life-Lifeless and Life- Spirit Lifeless

Spirit is a general characteristic of life. It is the infinite knowledge of everything; Infinite matter; infinite substance; Multiply that by three. That is knowledge. (In other religions, the soul is called the soul) Doing good-bye rituals envelops life. From the observance of good deeds, the premises go on and become self-realization. Life itself is the result of karma and the result is the shape of the body. (As the lamplight shapes the room.)

Many types of organisms: Plants, plant life, eccentric-contact only, as well as bi-sensory, etc.

Pudgala Principle: (Matter) Physical matter – Two types; Nuclear and Skanda or sangha; Skandas by atoms; All atoms are of the same type. They are the basic materials, such as Prithvi, Up, Teja, Air. The first is the atom of creation. The atoms are the same, but they are different in form, juice, and odor. From this, the world becomes visible (objects become).

The celestial principle: Allowing for the skeletal matter – sky. This should be known with suspicion. It is not possible by direct measure. There are two types of the sky – world space, light space.

There is life, purgala, religion, lawlessness in the world. Above this is space. Dharma means- to beings, to beings, to the temperature, to the presence, to the body. For example water for fish; The opposite is the law – the status quo. Ex: Like a tree shade for the tired one.

Time principle: This is not over-the-counter. It must be accepted as a cause of change. Benefits of time, attitude, affect, action, propriety, delinquency. In the space, the foot is microscopically covered. They are of two kinds; The business-time-primitive is endless; It is not possible to imagine an object in time.

Enlightenment: There are two types of direct knowledge of knowledge. Intuition is the knowledge acquired without the help of the senses (otherwise known as intuition). Indirect knowledge is derived from the senses and the mind is acquired from the intellect. Direct knowledge is transcendental.

Every object can be anywhere; There is no account for the religions that may exist in every object; they are infinite.

Twenty-six (there is an action of 25) written by their original professors, the fourteen pre-eminent texts of the Guru That is the port. Four Yoga; First Yoga, 2 Karuna Nu Yoga 3 Karna Yoga, 4 Material Yoga.

Quantity and smoothness:

Jainism embraces three dimensions – live, doubt, arrival. The standard is to provide actual knowledge of the object. It is smooth to specify one aspect of an object. That is, from one perspective, smooth.

Thinking about the complexity of the truth is magnificent. The probability theory that the truth may be so. The world can be seen from many perspectives. A separate decision may also be made; Does not judge the full nature of the truth. Attempting to know the truth from seven steps can be done.

Siyasati – may be.

Sanasasti – Not so.

Zayastika nastika – Probably not, without being.

Sayyaviyaktam – It cannot be explained.

Sad Asticha Avakanthancha – perhaps there is – colorless.

Sannastikha Avakanthancha – Probably not, indescribable.

Siyasasticha nastikha avaktancha – Perhaps there is / perhaps not; Is indescribable.

This argument also shows the vastness of religion.

Happy Guru Poornima, May Bhagwan Mahavir bless you all.
