Sharjah: The Sharjah police are on the hunt for a 15-year-old Indian boy who went missing early on July 4 morning. They have now reached out to the residents to help locate the missing boy and bring him back home.

As per reports, Mohammad Parvez (15) ran away from home after his mom scolded him for watching videos on YouTube late into the night. Soon after, a missing person’s complaint was registered at the Industrial Area Police Station and the Consulate General of India was also alerted about the case.

The Sharjah police, in a brief statement on social media, urged the public to contact them if they have any information about the missing boy, who has been absent from his family’s home since July 7. The people have been requested to call: 80040, 5943210/06 with any information about the missing child.

Perwez, son of Mohammad Aftab Alam, who hails from Bihar and runs a small business in Sharjah, is a student of Delta English School in Sharjah and a resident of the Al Muwaileh school area. According to his father, Parwez might have been wearing a blue T-shirt and brown trousers, or a white kandoora at the time of his disappearance.
