Dammam: A person named Abubakar, a resident of Badiyadka village, Perla town has been released from prison here on Wednesday, May 7.

About eight months ago, Abubakar was reported across all social media platforms as missing.

Though several organisations began the search operations, it did not pay off. The Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) Zonal leaders Mohammad Malebettu and Basha Gangavali pitched into the search.

Eventually, the duo came to know that he was behind the bars in some case.

Later, they both personally met him in jail and consoled him.

Abubakar’s family members too had requested the duo to help in his release from the jail.

When Mohammad Malebettu and Basha Gangavali asked him the reason for arrest, he said, “I am innocent. Some people have conspired against me and sent me behind the bars in a false case.”

After six months of persistent efforts by KCF, he was produced before the Saudi Arabia Court and proven innocent. The court then, ordered his release.
