Abu Dhabi: The Mangalore cup 2020 (Season-8) will be held under the auspices of the MCC (Mangalorean Cricket Club) at Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium, on Feb 28th. This will include over arm cricket tournament, Throwball match and several competitions
Mangalorean Cricket Club Abu Dhabi (Regd) is one of the leading and most prestigious clubs in UAE. Its led by the eminent Mangalorean personalities Ronald Pinto Hysna international and Walter Almeda Regal.
Its principal aim is to provide a platform for Mangalorean business community to gather under one umbrella. It reinforces the bond of native cultural and traditional values.
It also provides international exposure to Kannadiga NRI young cricketers, which will nurture and develop their sporting skills. MCC Mangalore festival strengthens friendship and to bridge the gap between cultures and communities.

MCC President Lathif KH informed the media that, “This is our eighth consecutive year of MCC tournaments. It is getting bigger and better by years, event at International cricket pitch will be attracting thousands of sports lovers. We have received immense support from cricket lovers and Kannadigas of United Arab Emirates for the last 7 seasons, like last season we are expecting more teams & 10,000 spectators.
Many delegates, Mangalorean entrepreneurs, legendary cricket players will be participating in the opening and prize distribution ceremony. Entertainment and Lucky draw prizes will be given to spectators.
Cash prize and Trophy will be given in following categories: Man of the series, best batsman, Best bowler, Best Keeper, Best fielder, Best all-rounder, and Best catcher. Man of the match in the final. Man of the match in every league. All together winners will take away price worth 25,000 AED.
