K R Nagar: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has been of late losing his calm over trivial reasons and latest in the series is when he asked the people if they have the right to demand funds from him when they did not vote him to power.
He was addressing a rally for his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy at Saligrama, here on Sunday, April 14, when some locals urged the CM to get more developmental projects for the region.
Responding to this, the CM shot a question at the locals asking them if it was ethical to demand funds from him when they did not vote the JDS to power.
“You first vote without having a selective approach towards one party, and then ask for funds from the government”, he added.
Meanwhile, he said that it was essential to strengthen the hands of JDS Supremo H D Deve Gowda and former chief minister Siddaramaiah and help the coalition win atleast 22 Lok Sabha seats.
CM HDK requested both the Congress and the JDS party workers and its leaders saying, “Keeping in mind the betterment of the country, you all should take into consideration the leadership of HDD, AICC President Rahul Gandhi and Siddaramaiah.”
