Mysuru: “We will definitely invite former chief minister Siddaramaiah to the Mysuru Dasara. We will not forget him even if the Congress party does,” mocked State Tourism Minister C T Ravi.
After attending a meeting on the Mysuru Dasara here on Tuesday, September 10, both Mysuru district in-charge Minister V Somanna and state Tourism Minister C T Ravi addressed the media.
V Somanna said, “We will celebrate the Mysuru Dasara only after welcoming Siddaramaiah. He is in touch with us on a daily basis. The invitations are yet to be printed.” He then invited the media to accompany them when they go to invite the former CM.
Meanwhile commenting on former water resource minister D K Shivakumar being in the Enforcement Directorate’s custody, C T Ravi said, “A legal body takes someone into custody regardless of what community they belong to. They will take the person into custody based on what they have done and not based on their community. It is not right to highlight the community in such cases.”
