Mysuru: Two people from Nanjangud in Mysuru tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, April 22 evening, bringing the days total to 9 and the overall total of the state to 427.
Patient 426 is a 56-year-old man and is a contact of Patient 383. Patient 427 is a 32-year-old man and is a secondary contact of Patient 52, the first pharma plant employee that got infected with the disease.
Earlier in the day, the state reported seven new cases, including a 4-month-old boy from Kalaburagi.
Of the 427 cases, 17 are deaths and 131 are discharges.
