Mysuru: State government has failed in controlling deadly Coronavirus disease said KPCC spokesperson M, Lakshman here on Friday April 23.

Speaking at the press conference held at the congress office he said, “the BJP government is unfit to handle the covid crisis and by issuing revised guidelines, again and again, they are confusing the common public”.

A similar opinion was shared by the state president of Rajya Raita Sangha, Badalagalapura Nagendra in the press conference. He said the state government is responsible for the increasing death toll of Covid 19 patients as it did not handle the second wave of the Covid 19 well. Thus, the Rajya raita sangha has been planning to submit a plea in court to provide relief to the family of deceased patients of Covid 19.

Similarly, the President of State woman congress, Dr. Pushpa Amarnath opined that the country is in need of a responsible government that is able to handle the covid crisis effectively.

She said the government has imposed GST on Oxygen, Remdesivir, vaccines, Sanitizers too. Our demand for providing free masks and sanitizers to the BPL cardholder has not been fulfilled yet. Apart from that, the government is showing insensitivity by reducing the quantity of rice under the Annabhagya Scheme, she added.
