Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Bharatiya Janata Party rally in Mysuru at the Maharaja Ground on April 7, said Vaman Acharya, State BJP Spokesperson, who is also in-charge of the Mysuru Parliamentary Constituency.

Speaking to Newskarnataka, Vaman Acharya who is in Mysuru to take part in the rally preceding the filing of nomination papers by sitting BJP MP Pratap Simha from Mysuru Lok Sabha constituency said, “When compared to last year, the preparation at the booth level is much better.”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address the rally in Mysuru on April 7 at Maharaja Ground. This rally will also influence Chamarajanagar constituency from where former union minister and BJP senior leader Srinivas Prasad will be contesting. We are reaching out to the minority community also. The women from the Muslim community are coming forward to support BJP”, added Vaman Acharya.

“In the last five years as MP, Pratap Simha stands first in getting more funds and undertaking developmental works in his constituency. He managed to do this because of his follow up. He is not a percentage man and always gives 100 percent to society”, claimed Vaman Acharya. He also mentioned that some minor differences in Kodagu were sorted out. “Kodagu people are nationalistic. They also look at the larger picture. Pratap will win with a much better margin when compared to the last election”, said Vaman Acharya.
