Mysuru: it looks like the JDS and Congress leaders have finally fallen in line in Mysuru. For the first time after the JDS-Congress alliance was formed in the state, both the party leaders held a joint press meet in the city and announced that their ultimate aim is defeating the BJP in the Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking to reporters, higher education minister G T Devegowda stated that they will be holding a joint campaign in Mysuru, as per the direction of both the parties’ the senior leaders. He also stated that henceforth, no false case will be registered against any party activist.
JDS state unit president H Vishwanath stated that both the parties’ district leaders will work together to defeat BJP’s Pratap Simha. He also said that the JDS will work with the Congress leaders without any problems.
Congress-JDS alliance candidate C H Vijayashankar announced that from now on, workers of both the parties will work together in all the booths and that all the differences have been resolved. He also accused incumbent MP Pratap Simha of misleading the voters.
