Mysuru: Dr Yatheendra Siddaramaiah, son of former chief minister Siddaramaiah, tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, August 7.
The MLA from Mysuru’s Varuna constituency, who is a doctor by profession, is currently under home quarantine.
He has been identified as a primary contact of his father, Siddaramaiah, who tested positive for the disease a few days ago. He is being treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru.
Yatheendra, who has not displayed any COVID-19 symptoms, requested those who met him in last seven days to get themselves tested and isolate themselves.
