Mysuru: 79 new cases of patients have been identified with Covid-19. This is the least number of daily cases recorded in the district recently.
As of now, 199 people have been cured and active cases are down to 1005. Two people have succumbed to the virus today, bringing the death count to 972. 445 patients are being isolated at home.
140 patients have been admitted in the District Covid Hospital, 237 in Private Hospitals, 62 in Covid Treatment Center, 69 in Private Covid Treatment Center, 39 in Covid Care Center, and 13 in Private Covid Care.
Of the 51 patients who came in contact, 19 were suffering from a cold flu-like illness (ILI), one was suffering from acute respiratory distress (SARI), and 8 were infected.
