The unit is scientifically designed and has spacious treatment areas, finished to a high standard with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Particular attention has been given to the lighting in the unit. The design focuses on maximising natural light. The Department of Nephrology and Transplantation provides high quality comprehensive kidney care encompassing Haemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis, outpatient, in-patient care and Transplantation to name a few. Columbia Asia Mysore is already providing quality dialysis facilities in the hospital and the facilities are split over three different areas. Building on the high quality care provided in the existing facility and expanding patient pool, it was necessary to open a new purpose built unit.
