Youth rescued from drowning by Panambur Beach Lifeguards

Mangalore : A  19 year old youth who was drowning in the seas at Panambur on May 31, Friday was rescued by the Beach Lifeguards of the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project.

The youth named Rakesh from Rajajinagar, a I PUC student at KLE College, had arrived at the beach along with his friend Hemanth. Both were enjoying a swim at the place where there were rip currents, despite of the warning by the Beach Life Guards. As the Lifeguards moved away after warning the two, noticed that Rakesh was caught in the rip currents and was drowning. He  was immediately rescued by the Lifeguards, informed Yatish Kumar Baikampady, CEO of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project.
