Traditional polling booth in Baddadka school

Sullia: The traditional polling booths are special attractions of the Lok Sabha elections, this season. This year ward number 209 of the Sullia Legislative Assembly polling booth was considered as a traditional polling booth.

The polling booth in Ramakrishna Aided Higher Primary School in Aletti village of Sullia Taluk was shining with special decorations.

The booth was decorated with coconut leaves, grass mats and other traditional items.

To attract more voters, special decorations were made in the booth.

The polling booth surrounded by the scenic beauty of nature was situated near the Kerala-Karnataka state border.

Voters arrived early in the morning and cast their vote.

Drinking water and other basic facilities were arranged for the voters in the booth.
