Mangaluru; WhatsCut Pro, a short video app, developed by a team of P. A . COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (PACE) Alumni, has been trending in news lately. Following the ban of 59 Chinese mobile applications, including TikTok, over national security concerns by the Indian Government, the creators on the popular short video platform have been left in a state of shock and fear that the millions of followers and likes they’ve earned on the app so far will vanish in the cloud.

WhatsCut Pro App, the brainchild of the students while in the final year engineering, was launched in 2017 and currently has over 1.7 million+ downloads and more than 9 million stories shared on its platform.

Co-founded by Sushin P V, Rizwan Sadath and Ramees P, alumni of Department of Computer Science, P.A College of Engineering, Mangalore of the Class of 2017 and Vikas Shrivastava, an alumnus of SPJIMR, Mumbai, WhatsCut Pro is being touted as the perfect replacement for Tiktok and has come as a relief for the anxiety-ridden creators.

It is the most advanced app to create and share heartwarming videos/audios on multiple social media platforms and chat messengers including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and IMO, and has been exclusively curated to cater to all the social media video/audio-related needs of its users.

Through its powerful content creation tools, WhatsCut Pro aims to assist users in creating influencer – like high – quality videos and audios. WhatsCut Pro application helps users create influencer-like professional and likable content that turns any video into share-worthy posts.
