Suvidha Special trains to operate between Bluru and M’luru for Deepavali

Mangaluru: The South Western Railway has decided to operate Suvidha Special trains between Bengaluru and Mangaluru in order to facilitate those visiting the city to celebrate the Deepavali festival.

Along with the Southern Railway, the South Western Railway, in a press release, informed that two services , under each branch, will be operated in order to clear the festival rush.

Train No 82665 KSR Bengaluru-Karwar Suvidha Special will leave Bengaluru at 11.55 pm on October 25 and 28 to reach Karwar at 3.30 pm the next day via Shravanabelagola and Hassan. The same train will leave Mangaluru Junction at 10.10 am, Udupi at 11.36 am, Kundapur at 12.10 pm and Bhatkal at 1.12 pm.

Train No 82666 Karwar-Yelahanka Suvidha Special will leave Karwar at 4 pm on October 26 and 29, Bhatkal at 6.22 pm, Kundapur at 7.30 pm, Udupi at 8.22 pm and Mangaluru Junction at 10.15 pm to reach Yelahanka at 8 am the next morning via the Yeswanthpur bypass.

The trains will halt at Chikkabanavara, Kunigal, Shravanabelagola, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabaka Puttur, Bantwal, Mangaluru Junction, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Kundapur, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road and Ankola.

They will have one 3-Tier AC coach, 12 Second Class Sleeper coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans, the press release informed.
