Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced that students of schools and colleges can travel in its buses free of cost, showing the old bus pass and identity cards, till the end of June.
Though the schools and colleges have reopened after summer vacations, the KSRTC has not yet issued new pass. Hence, the KSRTC has announced that the students can travel in buses showing their identity cards issued from their respective schools and colleges along with the old pass.
Even those students who do not have old bus pass, can travel in government buses showing their identity cards free of cost, informed KSRTC divisional controller of Puttur.
