Mangaluru: Srinivas University is organising a two-day international conference on ‘Nanotechnology’ at Srinivas Hotel from October 18 onwards.
The conference will be inaugurated by former Mangaluru University Vice-Chancellor Dr K Byrappa. Dr Kalappa Prashanth from France will deliver the keynote addresses and Srinivas University Chancellor A Raghavendra Rao will preside over the programme.
Addressing the reporters here on Wednesday, October 16, Srinivas University Vice-Chancellor Dr P S Aithal said, “During the conference, discussions will be held on how the life span of human beings can be extended through nanotechnology. Those who are interested in emerging technology can participate in this two-day international conference. More than 100 research papers and research projects from scientists, research scholars, and professors will be presented during the programme. Around 250 researchers from all over the world will be participating in the event,” he added.
Delegates like Dr Nampoori, Dr Prashantha, Dr. Kiran Manjappa from Taiwan, Dr Phani from Nanotechnology-based industry, Dr Manoj Krishna from BASF and experts from various fields will present their papers.
Srinivas University Registrar Dr Anil Kumar, Director and convener of the conference Dr Praveen B M, and Dean Dr Thomas Pinto were present.
