Mangaluru: The Srinivas University College of Management and Commerce’s MBA Department is organising a two-day national level post-graduate business management festival “MAGMA 2019” on the theme “MAGMACIAN – Management with Magical Minds” at their campus in Pandeshwar on October 21 and 22.
Dean of the College Dr Shailashri V T told mediapersons here on Saturday, October 19, that the management fest will feature eight events from the business sphere- the alchemist for best manager, the jugglers for finance, the enchanters for marketing, the conjurer for HR, the spell-caster for business quiz and the illusionist for photography of professional domains of management and marketing. The special attraction of the event will be a magic show by world-renowned magician and illusionist Shreekanth Indra, who is all set to mesmerize the crowd.
Shailashri also said that more than 30 teams from various business schools and management institutions across the country have confirmed their participation in this event. The event will be inaugurated on October 22 at around 10.30 AM at the college campus. It will be presided over by Srinivas University Chancellor CA A Raghavendra Rao. National Geography Wild Life Photographer and CEO of Catalyst Portfolio Management Service Santhosh Giri will be the chief guest.
MAGMA convener Prof Anumesh Kariappa, co-convener Prof Sagar Srinivas, student council president Nabeel and student coordinator Karthik V Nayak were present.
