Mangaluru: The Srinivas University has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with Xlanz India Pvt Ltd, for Employability Skill Enhancement Programme (ESEP) on Monday, June 17.
Xlanz India Pvt Ltd is the associate concern of American based company called Venture Soft Global. The idea behind this MoU is to train the students with a focus on various aspects needed for competitive examination by UPSC, SBI-PO, leading IT companies, BFSI, railways etc., for employment purpose.
As per the MoU, Xlanz India Pvt Ltd. would set up a separate course for the graduate and postgraduate students, which would help them to easily find a suitable job after stepping out of college. This course would be included in the curriculum of both the graduate and postgraduate syllabus of Srinivas University.
Xlanz India Pvt Ltd. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashwin Krishna, after signing MoU said, “Employability skill enhancement programme would definitely help the students to realise their dreams. It is a competitive era and the students need to be fully prepared while they searching for any job. If the students have all the basic knowledge regarding the industries, start-ups or any institution, it would help them to secure high positions in their professional career.”
Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University P S Aithal informed that in order to give quality education to the students, the university had started adopting various innovative programmes like credit based system, practical oriented classes, projects in each semester, internship training during the last semester among others. The MoU between Srinivas University and Xlanz India Pvt Ltd. would help the students easily access the different companies after their completion of the course, he informed.
