Mangaluru: A solar clock installed at Kadri Park was formally inaugurated by Deputy Director of Horticulture H R Nayak on Tuesday, July 23.
This three faces solar clock with a height of 21 ft, will be free from rust and it will not be damaged either by rain or sunlight. The clock was sponsored by the State Bank of India (SBI).
After the inauguration of the solar clock, its designer Appajappa spoke on the features of the clock.
General Manager of SBI, Bengaluru, Muralidharan, Assistant Manager Sukumar V K, Regional Manager Daisy Kujur, Assistant Director of Horticulture Janaki, Architect of the clock G K Bhat and various officials of SBI were present.
