Mangaluru: With former MLC Ivan D’Souza testing positive for the corona virus, on August 1, all the journalists who attended the press meet of KPCC President DK Shivakumar, on July 31 in the city have been asked to remain quarantined.
It may be recalled that D’Souza had taken part in the press meet by DKShi in the city on July 31 along with several other Congress leaders.
On August 1, D’Souza revealed that he and his wife Dr Kavitha have been tested positive for corona virus, while both of them are asymptomatic.
A press release from information department has stated that all the journalists who attended the event must go for self-quarantine.
Former minister UT Khader, who was present in the press meet has quarantined himself.
