Mangaluru: SCDCC bank will organise a ‘Raita Spandana’ programme to offer loans to agriculturists here on Wednesday July 14.
Speaking at a press meet here on Monday July 12 SCDCC Bank Chairman Dr. M. N. Rajendra Kumar said that SCDCC bank has come forward to provide special loans to farmers and other consumers amid Covid pandemic. The interest rates on gold loans have been decreased and the monthly interest is 0.75%.
Cooperation Minister H. T. Somashekar will inaugurate the programme. BJP State President and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will distribute loans to fishermen. District In-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will distribute loan to Self-help Societies.
Further he said, “the bank also will provide vehicle loans at 1 % discounted rate for those who are willing to buy electronic scooters and electronic cars. This is undertaken as support to environment-friendly initiatives, he added.
