Mangaluru: You may read the incidents of spotting lizards, cockroaches among others in food packets. But, here is a rare incident of spotting a razor blade in a beer bottle.
On Monday, April 2, Sharath Kumar, a resident of Kavoor, Gandhinagar purchased four bottles of Tuborg beer from a wineshop ‘ Ratna’s Wine Gate’, located at Bejai. He drank half a bottle of beer and found a razor blade inside the bottle. Immediately, he went to the wine shop and informed about the same. However, the owner of the wine shop did not respond to the issue properly though he was ready to replace the bottle which led Sharath Kumar to approach the Excise Department and file a case in this regard.
Sources from Excise department confirmed the incident and informed that they are investigating the case.
