No classes till April 4 for post graduate and research scholars: Mangaluru University

Mangaluru: Mangaluru University issued a notice on Monday March 29 stating that there will be no classes for Post Graduate and Research scholars from March 30 till April 3 in the wake of rising covid cases.

The students in hostel have been asked to stay back and remain inside the hostel premises at all cost.

With the number of covid cases rising about 2000, the government is likely to take announce tough covid19 rules today. A meeting on this matter will be held by the CM BS Yediyurappa along with Home minister Basavaraj Bommai, health minister Dr. K Sudhakar, education minister S Suresh Kumar and others

Meanwhile, the government has urged the public to follow the guidelines by wearing masks, using sanitisers and maintaining social distancing.
