Mangaluru: MP and BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel launched BJP’s state helpline number 080-68324040 to address the problems of the public regarding COVID-19 and the lockdown.
After launching the helpline number, Nalin informed that this was the only number for the entire state. “People can also WhatsApp their problems to 87225577330. The BJP’s volunteers will try to address the problems, whether it is emergency or food-related,” he said.
He also informed that the BJP had already started a ‘war room’ in every district and disbursed a total of 20,13,910 food kits till Wednesday, April 8. “A total of 1,96,150 masks and 5,95,705 ration kits have also been distributed in the state. The BJP will try to reach the beneficiaries through this helpline number and try to help more people in the next few days,” he added.
Asking the people not to worry about bank EMIs, he said, “We have already instructed all the banks not to force the public to pay EMIs for another three months. Power will also not be disconnected if the people are not able to pay the electricity bills in the next three months.”
