Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath laid the foundation stone for the upgrading construction work of Bayalu Ranga Mandira at Jodukatte in Maroli ward on Sunday, June 28.
After laying the foundation stone, MLA Kamath said, “as locals at Maroli ward have demanded to release funds for the additional works, Rs 25 lakh has been released under the Chief Minister’s special grant now. Once the work is completed, then people can hold religious and other cultural programs. The work will be started soon.”
Mayor Divakar Pandeshwar, corporators Keshav Maroli, Roopashri Poojary, local leaders Kiran Maroli, Jagadish Adu Maroli, Anil Kembar, Prashanth, Lokesh, Raghavendra Shenoy, and others were present.
