Mangalore : MLA J R Lobo visited the localities of Pumpwell, Ujjody, Mangaladevi and Morgansgate, here on Monday June 3, to assess the damage caused by torrential rains that has been lashing since a few days.
MLA Lobo reviewed the damage caused by flash-floods owing to a few real estate developers who have constructed compound walls to their building sites without the provision of drains in the vicinity. He also advised the civic authorities to take appropriate action on erring real estate developers in this regard.
Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee general secretary T K Sudhir, corporator Praveenchandra Alva, Dennis DSilva, Asha gretta DSilva, Ratikala, Alwyn DSilva, Krutin Kumar and others were present.
