Mangaluru: Professor Clement D’Souza, a master trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and an acclaimed healer for many psychosomatic diseases, passed away on Thursday, July 16 night. His cause of death is not yet known.
Professor Clement, aged 72, was renowned for his social services in palliative care, rainwater harvesting and transforming human beings into great achievers.
He has a large follower base among NLP practitioners and was passionate about teaching NLP to everyone. “NLP changed my life. It can change your life too,” he always said.
Soft-spoken and always active, Prof. Clement was a trustee of Ave Maria Palliative Care. He retired from St. Agnes College in 2005 after having taught there for 34 years. He headed the Economics Department at the College. He brought laurels to the college through his social intervention in rainwater harvesting, an effort that was recognised by the Jimmy Carter Foundation.
Prof. Clement D’Souza was also a yoga teacher, pranic healer, reiki therapist, and expert in many other alternative therapies. He, in association with NewsKarnataka and Vruddi, had recently organised an online course on Associate Practitioner in NLP and proactively conducted the course and won the hearts of all the attendees.
He was appreciated among doctors and was also asked to conduct NLP sessions for medical professionals.
Prof Clement is survived by his wife, Prescilla and only son, Kevin, who are both in Australia at the moment. His body has been taken for COVID-19 testing as per SOP.
