Bengaluru: A 40 day baby, which was taken from Mangaluru to Bengaluru in an ambulance with zero traffic in four and half hours has been operated and is now fine, at the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research of the city.
On February 6 the todddler was shifted from Mangaluru to Bengaluru.
According to CN Manjunath, director of the institute, the operation was performed by Dr. Jayanth Kumar and his team in the hospital. “The toddler was on ventilator. But now it has been removed. The kid is doing well,” he stated.
The operation was performed on Saturday.
