Kasargod: A duo was arrested on Saturday May 17, in connection with the several inter-state cases of robbery, by the Kasargod police.
The arrested have been identified as Naushad (21), a resident of Seetangoli Rajiv Nagar, and Nasir (20), a resident of Kumble Bambrana.
Under the guidance of DySP T P Ranjith a team of policemen arrested the duo.
As per the police sources, they confessed that they had stolen numerous vehicles, jewellery and other such valuables. They also said that they were involved in animal robbery and have stolen around 3,000 goats and other animals and sold them.
According to the police they had been allegedly involved in chain snatching in Puttur, to which they confessed.
The police recovered three cars and a bike from them.
Kumble police circle inspector K V Suresh Babu, Kasargod circle inspector T P Jacob, Aduru SI Satish, Anandan, Pradeep Kumar Chavara, Sunil Abraham, Shaju and Sunil were involved in the operation.
