Mangaluru: The installation of the new office bearers of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Mangaluru chapter for 2021-2022 was held on January 26 at Hotel Ocean Pearl.
Dr Raghavendra Holla took charge as the new Chairman while Canute J Pinto took charge as the new Secretary of the chapter.
Chief guest of the occasion, Rotary District 3181 Governor Nominee Rtn. PHF. Prakash Karanth said, “There are several social organisations, but only PRCI develops members as good communicators. Only having a position is not important. You will reap the benefits only if you involve actively in the various activities of the organisation.”
Guest of honour for the occasion M. B. Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor, PRCI also addressed the gathering, while Jayaprakash Rao, Chairman, South Zone, PCRI administered the oath of office to the new office bearers.
National chairman, PRCI Material Management, Renukananda handed over the official badges to the new office bearers.
Outgoing president Pashupati Sharma welcomed the gathering. Outgoing Secretary Roshin Bobby briefed the gathering on the activities of the year. Secretary Canute J. Pinto proposed the vote of thanks. YCC Secretary Manoj Rao compered the event.
Chairperson of YCC Mangaluru chapter Ananya Hegde, members of PRCI and YCC Mangaluru chapter were also present.
