Mangaluru: “India is one of the leading countries in providing quality healthcare to the people across the world, as we have reputed doctors here when compare to the other countries”, said globally acclaimed, award-winning strategic leader and speaker Dr Prem Jagyasi here on Friday, May 3.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating a workshop on ‘medical tourism, wellness tourism and global healthcare marketing’ organised by AJ Hospital and Research Centre at its conference hall.
Citing an example of a British who underwent treatment in India, Dr Jagyasi said that even if he had opted for treatment in his own country, he would have been treated by an India doctor for sure. “Such is the reputation of doctors from India, who are catering to health needs across the world, ” he said.
He also expressed his pleasure over the advanced system of treatment facilities being provided in AJ Hospital and Research Centre. “ As AJ hospital is Coastal Karnataka’s first NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers)accredited, multi-discipline, super speciality hospital, it can be a player at the global level, ” he opined.
The workshop was organised for medical value travel facilitators across the country. With this workshop, AJ Hospital attempted to take a closer step towards venturing into the global market and extends its services and expertise internationally.
Medical administration director Dr Amitha Marla welcomed the gathering. During this day-long workshop, Prem Jagyasi interacted with the doctors, faculty, students among others with great zeal.
